A Sense of History
Even after almost 11 months here in Wrocław, Cathy and I still manage to find new places in the city to explore: a street we haven’t walked before, a shop we haven’t seen, a narrow alley we have somehow overlooked. And throughout our explorations, over and over again, I’m reminded of the the vast history that European cities have to offer, an enduring sense of deep time unmatched by anyplace in the U.S.
Just tonight, after a dinner at a nice little Italian restaurant recommended by the school’s art teacher, Cathy and I stumbled across this gem:
History. In the making.
